Laura released her debut single in the beginning of 2024. It was a several-year-long project that began in the intensity of 2020, when the emotions of the world seemed to be at a fever pitch. She was contacted by the incredibly thoughtful and generous Chris Selby out of Traverse City area, sometime in 2022, and they began the process of recording shortly thereafter. The Answer was produced by Chris Selby and Brian Whitscell, and mastered by Dan Shike (mastering engineer for "I Can Only Imagine"). While her musical focus has mostly shifted to other genres, she remains a servant of Christ, thankful for His mercy and grace.
Laura served as a worship leader (as both volunteer and staff member) in various capacities at New Hope Community Church (Acme) and New Hope Community Church (Petoskey) from the years of 2005-2017.
